Project Description

During the Galway 2020 opening ceremony project, over 350 instruments were purchased and used in the training of the community cast. This bank of instruments can now be borrowed by young people or schools.

Music Generation Galway County operate, run and manage this community instrument bank, ensuring a lasting legacy for the instruments. To enquire about an instrument contact Music Generation Galway County at musicgenerationgalway@gretb.ie or 091 874557.

To provide access to instruments for music-making young people in County Galway.

This project is funded by Galway Culture Company, which is supported by the Government of Ireland under the National Development Plan through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
