Provide Supports to the Cultural and Creative Sector

Project Description

This is a new programme in partnership with PorterShed that provides access to and support for EU funding, relationships, partnerships and advice. The programme will include seminars, clinics, events and travel. The programme includes the following:

EU Funding Clinics
Free 30-minute clinics for communities, individuals, and organisations offered online or in-person. Clinics are booked through an online calendar for meetings with two EU funding specialists who guide participants through the EU Funding process.

EU Funding Clinics provide free advice, support and direction and are curated by two of the region’s most experienced EU funding experts – Stephen Geary, Funding Support Manager at PorterShed, and Marilyn Reddan, CEO of Galway Culture Company. They will be on hand to facilitate clinics and will invite other regional experts to advise and assist based on needs.

EU Office Hours
The EU Office Hours provide advisory services and grant match making. After the initial EU Funding Clinic, communities, individuals, or organisations then move to EU Office Hours for further dedicated and intense specialist assistance and advice.

EU Funding Seminars and Events
We will invite EU funding specialists and assessors to Galway from EU funding agencies and other agencies in Europe to outline tips, advice and examples of success. In this series we will also partner with our regional stakeholders.

Go and See
We will bring two delegations to Brussels to meet with partners, agencies and organisations in Brussels and learn more about how the EU works.
