Call for Concepts: Light Art – Bodø2024 European Capital of Culture

Bodø2024 European Capital of Culture calls for artists and/or concepts from, with connection to, or with deep understanding of Sápmi and Northern Norway to create a piece for the concluding weeks of Bodø2024.

We are looking for a work that incorporates light as part of its expression and/or installation. All concepts and formats are welcome to apply. Both existing works and new commissions will be considered. Concepts that can be replicated and reassembled are prioritised. The art piece must be technically feasible and ready for display from November 15th to 30th, 2024.

Artists fee: EUR 12.500.
Production and material costs by agreement.

Deadline: 28 May 2024.
