Galway Chamber announced last week that Marilyn Gaughan Reddan, CEO of Galway Culture Company and an outgoing board member of Galway Chamber, has been appointed to the board of Chambers Ireland. This appointment was confirmed at the AGM held on September 25th.
Marilyn has been a driving force in Galway’s business and cultural sectors, playing a key role in:
- Launching the first business award for culture and creativity
- Enhancing EU and international relationships for increased funding
- Establishing the successful “Culture Meets Business” programme, fostering collaboration between cultural organisations and Galway’s business community
- Increasing representation from the creative sectors within Galway’s business council
