Kenny Deery has been the leading voice of the Galway business community since being named CEO of Galway Chamber in 2019. During that time, he has successfully spearheaded a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the impact and profile of the Chamber, culminating in their recognition as ‘Chamber of the Year’ last year.

Before joining the Chamber, he had almost 20 years of banking experience, holding a number of senior management positions in AIB. He is a board member with a variety of companies and organisations including Chambers Ireland, PorterShed, Galway Technology Centre, and the Galway Culture Company amongst others. A native of Achill, Kenny is a graduate of UCD, UL and the University of Galway.
